The retail industry is changing rapidly and it may be difficult for newly established players to gain the attention of the market. But, Mond of Copenhagen is different. Mond of Copenhagen has identified a need in the suit industry and has invested heavily in a completely unique integration system.

The business model of Mond of Copenhagen builds on a goal to create quality custom-tailored suits for everyone. The founders based the business model on the Asian trend of custom tailoring suits.

The brothers wanted to bring this service to Denmark, and so they did in 2009. Mond of Copenhagen has invested in a 100% custom-tailored solution; meaning, suits and shirts made according to the customer’s individual measure, needs, and wishes.

When Mond of Copenhagen opened its third store, it became necessary to invest in the integration of digital systems. Mond of Copenhagen wanted the new digital system to support the customer experience between its webshop and physical stores to improve the customer experience for each and every customer. The goal was to create quality custom-tailored suits for everyone and the company wanted to be among the best in the world in custom-tailoring.

With that goal in mind, Mond of Copenhagen was looking for a digital agency with expertise in developing, integrating, and automating digital processes and solutions. Twentyfour was hired to build a new custom POS system, a new custom webshop, and to integrate these with the inventory and order management.

Twentyfour developed a unique new webshop and custom-built POS system for Mond of Copenhagen, on which customers are able to design and personalize their suits and shirts from home as well as in-store. Using KOEBT, Twentyfour integrated the webshop, POS system, and Mond of Copenhagen’s supplier system, iSupply.

Integrating the many systems of Mond of Copenhagen ensures that both the company and the customers have the opportunity to follow every step of the production – right up until the new suit and shirt is ready for pick-up.

The user-friendly CMS makes it easy for employees to add new products, pictures, and descriptions to the webshop. With the new webshop, POS-system, and integrated platform, Mond of Copenhagen can offer their customers an out of the ordinary experience.

The integrations KOEBT has made between several of Mond of Copenhagen’s systems ensure greater transparency throughout the entire process from production to sales, which is paramount for both the company and its customers. Also, integrating systems eases the workflow of Mond of Copenhagen as well as the tailoring process for both the company and its customers. With resources saved, Mond of Copenhagen has more time to focus on creating the best customer experience and becoming among the best in the world in custom-tailoring.
